Why Jeremy Clarkson gave his World Cup tickets away

  • TV presenter Jeremy Clarkson gave away two tickets to England's World Cup match against Ghana in Boston.
  • Clarkson said in a video posted on X: “I’m trying my hand at being a football correspondent for The Sun newspaper and I had two tickets from them and then it’s raining so I thought, ‘I don’t want to be outside.’”

  • The pair expressed their gratitude for the tickets, with Robson later thanking Clarkson on social media.
  • England drew with Ghana in their second group stage match, with neither team managing to score a goal.
