What to expect from Fortnite OG Season 9?
Fortnite OG Season 9 features an industrialist map, full of futuristic POIs, all of which were shaped by the volcanic eruption in the previous season. Some POIs from the original have been replaced and overhauled, such as Tilted Towers for Neo Tilted and Retail Row for Mega Mall. Likewise, Pressure Plant is now a major POI on the island.
Like previous OG seasons, Season 9 also adds Remix skins for iconic characters such as Rox and Demi. Expect these to be part of the OG pass, which should also include one more character skin and other cosmetic items such as emotes, back blings, and pickaxes.
Loot pool is also refreshed with weapons such as Drum Shotgun, Tactical Assault Rifle, Combat Shotgun, Proximity Grenade Launcher, Burst SMG, and Semi-Auto Sniper, making a return. Storm Flip is also back, which should make storm escapes easier.
What we don’t know, however, is whether Fortnite OG Season 9 will include the original’s live event. If you don’t recall, Chapter 1 Season 9 concluded with a live event called The Final Showdown. It featured a massive battle between two mecha giants and ended up as one of the most memorable events in Fortnite’s history.
