Three children captured on CCTV speeding and performing a burnout inside a shopping centre are at the centre of a police appeal, as officers seek help to identify them.
Police said the children rode two e-motorbikes through the South.Point shopping centre in Greenway about 8pm on Monday, June 15.
"One of the riders stopped and deliberately conducted a burnout, leaving large marks and damage to the floor near the customer service desk," an ACT Policing spokesperson said.
Officers have now released CCTV footage of the three children and are appealing to anyone who recognises them or the e-motorbikes involved to come forward.
One child is described as a male wearing white shoes, light-coloured pants, a black hooded jumper with a white image near the front right shoulder, a blue vest, black gloves and a grey helmet with a pink or red image on top. He was riding a dark-coloured e-motorbike.
A second child is described as a male wearing black and white Nike shoes, dark pants, a black hooded jumper with a white pattern on the front left and right shoulders, and a black helmet. He was also riding a dark-coloured e-motorbike.
The third child, who was a passenger on one of the bikes, is described as a male with light-coloured hair, wearing shorts, a light-coloured jumper and a dark-coloured vest.
