UK heatwave: Which London attractions are closed due to the extreme heat?

  • Due to a red weather warning and high temperatures, several major London attractions have announced closures or operational changes.
  • Tower Bridge , Cutty Sark , and the Royal Observatory are closed on Wednesday and Thursday.
  • Ceremonial Operations, including Changing the Guard , are cancelled from Tuesday to Thursday this week.
  • The Victoria and Albert Museum and Young V&A Museum have partial or full closures until Friday, while the Natural History Museum' s DC Atrium and West Entrance are shut until Friday, although the main museum is open.
  • Numerous Royal Parks playgrounds and the Magic Garden at Hampton Court Palace are temporarily closed on Wednesday and Thursday.
