Teen Entrepreneur Earns ₹1 Crore a Month from AI Business, Inspires Social Media

The story gained traction after a LinkedIn post by Dinesh Singh, co-founder and CTO of Topmate, highlighted the journey of young entrepreneur Ayush Singh. As screenshots and reposts circulated across social media platforms, discussions quickly shifted from artificial intelligence to the extraordinary achievements of someone so young.

A Journey Born Out of Adversity

According to Dinesh Singh, Ayush's entrepreneurial journey began during the COVID-19 pandemic when his family faced significant financial challenges.

"He’s not an IITian, not an MIT graduate, and wasn’t born with a silver spoon," Singh wrote. "At 13, during COVID, his family hit a financial crisis. All he had was outdated courses, patchy internet, a laptop, and a ridiculous amount of curiosity."

Driven by that curiosity, Ayush immersed himself in learning machine learning and artificial intelligence, largely through self-study and online resources.

From Self-Learning to Global Opportunities

Singh claimed that Ayush's dedication quickly translated into professional opportunities. Within months of developing his skills, he reportedly began working with startups overseas on AI-related projects.

One of the notable milestones mentioned in the post was that, at the age of 14, one of Ayush's educational courses was publicly recommended by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). During this period, he continued refining his expertise while building a reputation in the AI space.

The Real Breakthrough

While technical skills played a crucial role in his success, Singh emphasized that the turning point came when Ayush learned how to package and monetize his knowledge.

According to the post, Ayush now runs premium AI learning cohorts through Topmate, generating substantial monthly revenue by teaching and mentoring others interested in AI.

A Lesson for Creators and Professionals

Beyond celebrating Ayush's accomplishments, Singh used the story to highlight what he sees as a common trend in the creator economy.

He argued that many individuals possess valuable expertise that others would willingly pay to learn, yet few take the initiative to transform that knowledge into a marketable product or service.

"I see this so often in the creator economy that it's a pattern I can't ignore," Singh wrote. "Most creators are sitting on something people would gladly pay to learn, and almost none of them earn a rupee from it."

Social Media Reactions

The story resonated strongly across social media, where users reacted with a mix of inspiration, humor, and introspection.

Many compared Ayush's achievements with their own lives and career paths.

"My 28-year-old self is feeling jealous and depressed seeing so many kids achieve so much at such a young age," one user wrote on X.

Another user commented, "My 18-year-old self is in depression."

Others viewed the story as a source of motivation, with one user simply describing it as "inspiring."

As conversations around AI entrepreneurship continue to grow, Ayush Singh's story has become a striking example of how curiosity, self-learning, and the ability to monetize expertise can create extraordinary opportunities at a remarkably young age.
