How to get wish notes in Pokopia
Before you can get shining wish notes, you first need to acquire standard wish notes. The recipe for this item is unlocked as soon as you start the Wish Upon a Jirachi event and chat with Jirachi, so start there.
Once you’ve got the recipe unlocked, head to any workbench to find the wish note recipe under the Other category. You need two Vine Rope to make one wish note. I recommend stocking up on quite a lot of them, at least 10, as you’ll need to give away lots if you want to complete the Wish Upon a Jirachi event.
How to earn shining wish notes in Pokopia
You can get shining wish notes by completing requests from Pokémon in need. While the event is active, you’ll sometimes spot Pokémon with dialogue over their heads. It’ll usually be something that indicates they’re seeking help, like “What am I gonna do…” or something similar.
Whenever you spot this, run over to the Pokémon and chat with them to offer help. After accepting their request, you’ll then automatically give them a standard wish note to hold onto. You can then set out to finish the task they assign you.
The nature of each Pokémon’s request is different. They might ask you for materials, task you with building a new habitat, or ask for specific items to be placed around their home. Regardless of what it is, the regular wish note you gave them will be turned into a shining wish note as soon as you return to the Pokémon in need after completing their task. They hand it right back to you once you’re done.
How to use shining wish notes in Pokopia
Shining wish notes are the event currency in Wish Upon a Jirachi, and can be spent inside any rebuilt Pokémon Center to unlock event prizes that Jirachi has for sale. Each reward costs one shining wish note, and there are 10 in total, so if you want to collect them all, you’ll need to finish at least 10 requests.
If you’re planning on building Jirachi’s habitat, you’ll likely want to complete more so you can have some event items for both Jirachi and yourself. You can redeem an endless number of event rewards as long as you have the shining wish notes to do so. All event prizes are available to buy from June 23 to July 8, so make sure you spend your shining wish notes to collect them all within this timeframe.
