Food delivery robot caught in active SWAT operation

  • During the operation, officers deployed a flash-bang device at a nearby residence while the robot was still present.
  • Police contacted DoorDash, which then sent a technician to remove the robot from the scene.
  • A DoorDash spokesperson stated that the robot “behaved as designed,” stopping and waiting safely while authorities managed the situation.
