Police are looking for a man accused of assaulting a teenage boy in a north Canberra suburb earlier this month.
ACT Policing investigators released a face-fit image of the alleged offender on Wednesday, June 24, asking community members to help identify the man.
Police say he was driving past two teenage boys on Appleford Avenue in Jacka about 4.10pm on Friday, June 12, when he stopped to speak to them.
It is alleged the man stepped out of his vehicle and assaulted one of the boys before driving away.
The alleged offender has been described as Caucasian in appearance, about 180-centimetres (5'11") tall with long dark curly hair, facial hair and teardrop tattoos on his face.
At the time of the alleged assault, police said he was wearing a dark beanie, glasses, an orange hooded jumper, black cargo pants, and brown boots.
It is understood the man and the teenagers did not know each other.
Anyone who recognised the man, witnessed the incident, or has dashcam footage from Roden Cutler Drive, Mobourne Street, Horse Park Drive, Katherine Avenue on the afternoon of June 12 has been asked to contact Crime Stoppers ACT quoting reference number 8413462.
