  • James Desborough is accused of murdering Claudio Aquilino, 57, and Daniel Coleman, 43, after meeting them at a multi-occupancy residence for homeless people in Newquay.
  • The court heard that Desborough dismembered the men's bodies, with parts of Mr Coleman's body found in a shallow grave and 1,900 burned bone fragments believed to be from Mr Aquilino discovered in Paramoor Woods, Cornwall , where Desborough lived.
  • Desborough has previously pleaded guilty to preventing the lawful burial of both men's bodies, but he denies the murder charges.
  • Following the disappearances of Mr Aquilino and Mr Coleman, Desborough allegedly accessed and spent money from their bank accounts.
  • The prosecution highlighted that Desborough, a fan of the TV series Dexter , reportedly told a fellow resident he 'particularly enjoyed the dismemberment scenes' from the show.
