- Walker, who was prepared to defend himself at an employment tribunal, received over 100 unsolicited character references from former colleagues and Olympians, demonstrating significant support.
- Despite the considerable stress caused by the situation, Walker expressed relief that the matter is now concluded, though he acknowledged that achieving forgiveness for the accusations would be a challenging process.
