Brooklyn Beckham called ‘kindest man ever’ as he and Nicola Peltz celebrate engagement anniversary

Nicola Peltz Beckham has publicly celebrated her engagement anniversary, describing her husband, Brooklyn Beckham, as "the kindest man I’ve ever met" in a heartfelt social media post.

The American model and actress, 31, shared a photo from her husband’s birthday celebrations in March, reflecting on the six years since their engagement.

She wrote: "I can’t believe we got engaged 6 years ago today. I feel like I’ve known you my whole life, you’re my best friend and my forever love wrapped in one. I love you with my whole heart. you’re the kindest man I’ve ever met and I’m so happy I get to do life with you. Thank you for being the magical you."

Brooklyn, 27, reciprocated the sentiment, commenting on her post: "You’re my best friend forever and ever."

He also shared his own tribute, writing: "6 years ago I asked my best friend to marry me. You are my girl, my beautiful wife, and my whole heart. Every day with you feels like the best adventure, and I still can’t believe I get to do life with you. You make everything brighter, funnier, sweeter, and more magical just by being you. I can’t wait to keep laughing, dreaming, and staying young with you forever. I love you more than words, Nicola xx."

The couple became engaged in July 2020, approximately eight months after they were believed to have started dating.

At the time, Brooklyn confirmed the news on Instagram, stating: "Two weeks ago I asked my soulmate to marry me and she said yes xx I am the luckiest man in the world. I promise to be the best husband and the best daddy one day I love you baby xx".

His mother, Lady Victoria Beckham, commented: "The most exciting news!! We could not be happier that @brooklynbeckham and @nicolaannepeltz are getting married! Wishing you so much love and a lifetime of happiness We all love you both so much x." Peltz Beckham replied: "I love you so so much Victoria. I’m the luckiest girl."

This public display of affection comes amid reports of a family rift.

In January, the eldest son of the former footballer and Spice Girl issued a statement on social media, accusing his parents of "controlling" him and "trying to ruin" his relationship with his wife, further alleging they had "disrespected" her.

Despite several public attempts by the Beckhams to extend an olive branch, primarily via social media, Brooklyn has reportedly ignored them.

Lady Victoria Beckham addressed the situation for the first time in a recent interview with The Wall Street Journal, stating that she and Sir David "love our children so much" and have "always tried to be the best parents."

The couple, known as Posh and Becks, are also parents to sons Cruz and Romeo, and daughter Harper.
